Dominic Rhodes is a former professional American football player who played as a running back in the National Football League (NFL) for several teams. He was born on January 17, 1979, in Waco, Texas.
Rhodes played college football at Midwestern State University, where he set numerous records and earned All-American honors. He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2001 and signed with the Indianapolis Colts.
During his time with the Colts, Rhodes was part of the team that won Super Bowl XLI in 2007. He also played for the Oakland Raiders and Buffalo Bills during his NFL career.
Rhodes was known for his versatility as a running back, as he was effective both as a runner and receiver out of the backfield. He had a solid career in the NFL before retiring in 2011.
After his playing career, Rhodes has been involved in coaching youth football and has worked as a sports broadcaster.
